2021 was the first time the National Tractor Pullers Association ventured west of the Mississippi in over 30 years. This year they are back for a second Grand National touring event. The “Wild West” pull off hosted at Dodge City Raceway Park will feature some of the baddest machines in the business. The crowd was pleased last season as 4 classes competed for 2 days on a single pulling track. The promoters at Dodge City doubled down this season adding a second lane pull lane and 2 additional classes of competition. Along with the multi-engined Modifieds, Light Super Stocks, FWD Trucks and Super Stock Diesels two additional classes will compete. The TWD Trucks and the Mini-Mods should wow the crowd with wheelies and ground pounding power.
Come see the Renk Seed “Money Maker” modified, and if driver Bret Berg can dominate DCRP again this weekend. Berg was the back to back winner at Dodge City and went on to win the N.T.P.A. national title in the division last season. Another powerhouse to pay attention to, Kent Payne in the “Super Rooster,” a Super Stock Diesel. This class is an awesome display of smoke and power along with the hiss of the super charged engine!
There will be 2 full shows, Friday evening, and Saturday night. If your would like to see these impressive machines up close the pits will open at 3:00pm and with a $35 pit pass fans are invited to check them out. The main gates to the grandstands will open at 6:00pm and adult general admission tickets are $30, kids 12 and under are free.
