The difficult decision has been made to cancel all racing on Saturday May 21st, due to the forecasted high in the 50’s and low’s in the 3o’s. “This is not a decision we make easily, we need to consider many factors,” said the promoters at DCRP. We mostly need to consider the comfort of the fans in the stands as they sit through a program. “Although our shows have been promptly run this season, the cold and wind here can be a wicked combination,” said Craig Dollansky, “The number one goal here is to send fans away with an enjoyable experience. Racers always want to race…but the spectators need to be considered as well. We hope not to have any cancellations, but so far our calls to cancel have been good choices.”
